rChristine Royal, DVM, is the Director of Veterinary Professional Services for Merck Animal Health. Over the years, she has gained experience in private practice, as a field based professional services veterinarian, professional learning advisor with experience in clinical research, phase IV trials, marketing, and management. She is passionate about sharing her perspective as a general practitioner, mother, and industry veterinarian to raise awareness and educate on issues related to protecting public health and pets. Dr. Royal also utilizes her experience as a professional learning advisor and knowledge of how adults learn to provide interactive education and coaching on the successful implementation of protocols, training of staff members, and finding solutions to help practices.
